Geo... and walking

Once more I was expecting for some time to write about great places I've lately mostly due to the geocaching. But I've been putting all the things in one place, and delaying, delaying...

Now it's time, to write about the latest good things, and last weekend in the highest mountain of Portugal (in the mainland, because on the islands there is a higher mountain... in the Pico Island - Azores), the Serra da Estrela, I went there for a morning meal with great people from this region.

After we went for a walk, it wasn't too much of walking, 6,7 Km, but on that distance we come from 1980m to 722... it was quite a coming down... specially for someone who does not do this kind of things all the time.

At the end, it was great to look at the photos, to remember the beautiful places seen, and to have the goal to go there much more times, because on these mountains there are a lot of wonderful places ready to be seen.

Well, I've found some geocaches, but they were just an excuse to go... and to be honest, I still like to go for the geocaching, but like this, to see great places, to have wonderful memories.

About the numbers, I still care, but it's a different care...
