5 years of geocaching and some important things...

I could start this with so many things to say or more precisely to write, in fact if my main propose was just to make any kind of celebration about the 5 years since I started the discovery of the so called treasures hidden on so different places, i could mention a bit of every place I’ve been, the great persons I’ve met, but I decided that it should be a bit different.

It was now, almost 12 years since I left my normal health condition and become a diabetic person, and this fact was never accept by myself. I want to do everything the same way, which is not so difficult, but when you don’t really know how to deal and transmit information about you, things, in some ways become harder.

Last week, a day before reaching the number of five years on the search for things, I went to a place, near home, and there I had the opportunity to look for a geocache, which was one of the best that I’ve found, and on the content there was a travel bug related with diabetes, probably it already went into the hands of so many people, but for me it was like and alert and also a joy, to see that on this we reach some of balance needed to control part of this illness.

Sometimes I have some challenges, people inviting me for some adventures, and from time to time I can’t answer the right way, once I need to be careful, but even so I’ve managed to had great adventures, without any problems, and for that I thank to all the people who went with me and shared the places.

What can I say now, it’s not easy to leave the numbers… Once it is part of the human nature. We reach an objective, no matter what it was, once most of them are made by ourselves, and we want to make even better, or even more.

At first I wanted to mention some of the caches I’ve visited that were special, but they are so many that it’s impossible to mention all of them. I just want to say thanks to all the owners for the great work they have done to build an ingenious container, or by finding a great spot, specially a very beautiful place.

To all the  geocachers that share some moments with me, on the search for caches or on events I just want to say thank you very much and hope to have in the future also good moments to join you in the quest for caches and nice places.

Well, it’s time to see if there are some new places ready to place a cache J
