A walk in the Lousã Mountain - Geocaching the way I like it...

This time I had the chance to gather a few friends, and we decided to go with our little kids to the Lousã Mountain, in the center of Portugal .

It was a great day, not only for geocaching, but also to enjoy nature, to be with great people, and go until the end on this lovely route.

Our adventure started in the traditional village of Gondramaz (Miranda do Corvo)  40° 3.730'N   8° 16.360'W, where we all meet before the journey.

Then it was time to start, and my goal was to find the cache called  Penedo dos Corvos, but this one shouldn't be for everyone, specially for the young ones, so we decided to go a few in this direction and the little ones and the rest of the group took another direction... and then we would meet later on.

This cache was a great, but very dangerous adventure. I must confess that if I tought more carefully I wouldn't go for it, once if you miss something there's no second chance, it's a big fall, with not return. But at the time I wasn't thinking well and as I saw it I decided to go there, but it was very hard to make a log...

After this adventure it was the moment to go back to the right track and meet the others later on, even if my legs were still trembling due to this crazy thing.

After walking a lot we finally found the group that was on the lead, with the kids having a great time, going from one side to other of the small water course. A lot of wood bridges are located on this track, which makes it a very pleasant for the ones who enjoy nature.

We meet some people that started this journey going from the down side of the mountain to the top, unlike us, we went down, which is much easier...

It was also great to have little pic-nic near a small water fall.

At the middle of our track we found the cache  Mergulho no Espinho, which was placed there by a very nice couple of geocachers.

After it was the time to go walking down until the end of our course.
